Inspiring Others
Some people are an inspiration and it seems so effortless. These things come easy to them. Try adding these to your relationships to improve the connections you make.
- Read - the person who reads is always learning. Share your learning with others.
- Challenge others - the person that is always agreeable does not encourage others to be forward thinkers.
- Communicate effectively - watch what you say and how you say it. The message is sometimes lost in the presentation.
- Tell stories - share from your own experiences. It allows others to see change as possible if you tell them the steps you took to get there.
- Be vulnerable - share your failures as readily as your successes. This will allow others to see that they are not the only ones with challenges.
- Encourage and care about others - People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Ask questions and take a genuine interest in others.
- Be a good example - people do what they see more than they listen to what they hear.
