Inspiring Others

Inspiring Others

Some people are an inspiration and it seems so effortless.  These things come easy to them.  Try adding these to your relationships to improve the connections you make.

  • Read - the person who reads is always learning.  Share your learning with others.
  • Challenge others - the person that is always agreeable does not encourage others to be forward thinkers.
  • Communicate effectively - watch what you say and how you say it.  The message is sometimes lost in the presentation.
  • Tell stories - share from your own experiences.  It allows others to see change as possible if you tell them the steps you took to get there.
  • Be vulnerable - share your failures as readily as your successes.  This will allow others to see that they are not the only ones with challenges.
  • Encourage and care about others - People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.  Ask questions and take a genuine interest in others.
  • Be a good example - people do what they see more than they listen to what they hear.
