You Aren’t That Special

A little bit of painful truth🤔

I love to pay attention to those around me and observe.  It is something that helps me to help others to manage the things that end up creating anxiety.  Recently, I have observed and discussed with multiple people, “I don’t want to make them mad, sad, etc”.  My response is ... You are not responsible for someone else’s emotions.  I almost always get the response, “If I say something they don’t like, then I am responsible for that.”  Still ... nope, not your responsibility.  Then, I proceed to teach them “A More Powerful You” and show them how they are not that special in another’s emotion.  Emotions come from thoughts.  No matter how hard you try, if the other person wants to be upset or hurt ... not one single thing you can do.  And, remember, some people choose unhappy, chaos and drama.  Careful letting them control your actions. 🌀
