Hear Me!

One of the things that seems to escape almost everyone that walks through my door for therapy is. . . in order to be heard accurately, you must talk.  Tell your story.  Be YOU.  Often, the most important work happens before we can even look at the problem - I teach people to get comfortable being themself.

It is imperative to share the real you with your world so they can be impacted greatly.  If you only give them what you think they will accept (because of fear of judgement) you miss the opportunity for both of you.  Most would say the “timing was off” or “it just didn’t work out” but in reality, neither person met with authenticity and the beauty of the relationship was missed altogether.

How sad.  If you skip over the opportunity to share your true, raw, messy self - you can’t help but miss the real blessing that the relationship had in store for you.  When you embrace the fear of being judged, you let people through as their real self and release the power for them to play an important role in your life.

It’s so much easier to just speak your language, allow others to interpret for themself and stay open to possibilities 🌀🎉
