CLEAN UP YOUR OWN BACKYARD

CLEAN UP YOUR OWN BACKYARD

Why is it easy to be critical or defensive but hard to reflect internally?  EVERY single thing we reject - we need to look at in order to move past our predetermined boundaries.

I find myself very frustrated by others at times and what I find when I do the inner work is the frustration is really about me.  Even more specifically - that it relates to something I need to tend to now to get it out of my way.

I can and do tell people how to overcome some of their own issues but when it comes to my personal life - it is very hard to see and reflect on.  But...when I do reflect, meditate and sort my own thoughts, feelings and behaviors - I grow.  This growth pattern that is typically forced because of tears or an anger response is...bottom line...fear.  When I reach that awareness, it is so powerful and energy releasing that I find myself emotionally exhausted and I crash.  But, when I look at that closer, it is because I have been internally reflecting, meditating and sorting with complete preoccupation so I don't sleep or rest my mind completely until I figure it out.  EVERY single issue that we become stuck on or frustrated with is OUR OWN.  Every single issue is a reflection of our own need.  BOOM! SMACK! WHOA! YIKES!

Those of us who do the work internally are the ones who realize our full potential and blossom.
