My daughter has had some struggles lately - growing up is hard work 😓 and I have found myself reflecting more, challenging her and encouraging her to embrace the struggle.  We have talked about fear and forgiveness - because some people have no idea the lasting effect they can have on others - but, such is life.  I always remind her that every single struggle holds a lesson and looking for the lesson builds incredible character.  And, I remind her that character, wisdom and integrity are yours forever - no matter who crosses your path.  

The Mom in me wonders if those people ever reflect and then I just shake my head and say "Wow!"  I know everything comes full circle in life and I have watched it play out many times and then my response is compassion because it sure is gonna suck to be them.  Do good, be good, repeat.  And, look past your ego to see others in the shadow.
